You're very welcome Victoria! Come back any time!

I'm probably the only romance reader alive who hasn't picked up a Kresley Cole book. *gasp!* *horrors!* heh. I'll have to pick up one these days and see what all the fuss is about! :)

Gotta agree with you on how addictive JRWard is. I'll also pick up most Sherrilyn Kenyon books without too much prompting. Hmm who else...Kresley Cole, Alexis Morgan and James McGee all get a look in!!

Yes, there was a series made from the books *in theory* As in the title was "The Dresden Files" and the lead character was named "Harry Dresden" those are the only real similarities I noticed (I haven't watched the series myself).

The books are well written, engaging, and imaginative. I love the mix of vampires, werewolves, Fae, and pretty much anything else you can think of. Harry is so real that you hurt for him. A lot. LOL

So don't judge the book by the TV series. The books (especially from about book five on up) are great reads.

And if you haven't read Karen's work, then you definitely should. She has a series of Highlander historical romance novels as well as the Fever Series which is more of an urban fantasy serial. *g*

Color me curious. The Dresden files as in the SciFi (or SyFy *shudder*) channel? Hmmm...I'm not familiar with either author, but I might have to take a gander!

I love J.R. Ward with a passion. The other two authors who never disappoint me are Karen Marie Moning (I love her Fever series) and Jim Butcher. I prefer JB's Dresden Files, but thoroughly enjoyed the Codex Alera as well.
