A few days ago I posted that I needed to enter a flash fiction contest. You could have knocked me over with a feather when Shannon McCracken, president of the Western Pennsylvania chapter of the Romance Writer’s of America, contacted me to say I’d won the 2008 Bump in the Night Flash Fiction Contest .

Holy crap.

I’d love to say my response was elegant, but I remember asking something along the lines of "Are you sh*tting me?" lol. Ah…grace under pressure as usual.
